This can be a tell that they are still feeling the mines effects, and used to gauge how much of a threat they pose. There is a distinctive visual cue to operators who are affected by the Grzmot’s they appear distressed, and hold up a hand to their head. There’s no limit to the number of people who will feel the concussive effects as long as they’re in the radius, they’ll be disoriented. If outnumbered, outgunned or taken by surprise, a well timed Grzmot can turn the tide of battle. You should always keep at least one mine on hand for these situations. Grzmot’s are active almost immediately after being deployed, letting Ela throw one directly towards attackers before or during a firefight. Be careful to not activate this if you’re nearby friendlies who are fighting to save you. If Ela is DBNO’d, she can activate her hidden fourth mine and immediately concuss anyone within the blast radius. But because their effects will also negatively affect friendly operators, avoid placement where fellow defenders will be hiding. Ela is a trap operator, even though her mines don’t deal health damage.Įla should place her Grzmot Mines in common attacking routes, or inside objective sites. However, her gadgets utility is best suited to areas in and around objective sites, making her a strong choice for anchoring in site, too.

The fourth is held on her person, and can be activated manually when she enters a DBNO state.Įla, and her sister-attacking operator Zofia-have had training with concussive effects and recover much faster than any other operator when hit by the Grzmot’s.Īs a full speed defender, Ela is best suited to roaming and quickly flanking the attacking enemies. Their proximity radius is 4 meters, and their explosion radius is 6 meters.Įla has a total of 4 Grzmot Mines, however only 3 can be thrown and placed as traps. They are not reduced by ceasing movement, unlike the effects from Echo’s Yokai drone. The concussive effects last for around 6 seconds. Grzmot’s ‘concuss’ enemies for a few seconds, blurring their vision and shaking their screen, stopping their ability to sprint, disrupting their hearing, making movement more difficult and interrupting any physical action-such as planting the defuser, or placing a breaching charge.

Their effect deals no health damage, but instead suppresses the enemy by inflicting a number of negative effects. They require a direct line of sight to the enemy to trigger their explosion they cannot be completely hidden, or they won’t detonate. The Grzmot’s are only triggered by enemy attacking operators, however they will affect anyone in their radius, including friendly ops and even Ela herself. Like other traps, they can be destroyed by taking any form of damage. They can be stuck to any surface, and are lightweight, allowing Ela to throw them large distances.

Her weapon loadout is weak, but her unique gadget-the Grzmot Mines-make up for her shortcomings.Įla is equipped with a set of traps called Grzmot Mines. A lightly armored, but fast operator, Ela is a diverse defender who can excel at both roaming and anchoring.
